Robare Named Lakeshore United FC Academy & Technical Director

Heather Robare has been selected to lead Lakeshore United FC's (LUFC) Academy youth development programs, the club's Director of Coaching, Jonathan Greenfield, shared today.  

As Academy Director, she will oversee and administer all aspects of our development program for youth ages 7 through 11, including our STARS Camps, summer camp programming, and specifically the technical development and coaching of our girls Academy teams.  

Robare comes to this role with a substantial soccer resume, including playing and coaching at all major amateur competition levels.  Her playing career includes club and high school soccer in the Rockford, Illinois area as well as here in the LUFC market at Lakeland University.  

Locally, she has coached the Sheboygan South High School Varsity Girls teams as well as various LUFC teams, including teams earning the right to participate in the State Premiere Leagues as well as the Midwest Regional Conference.  She was instrumental in assisting the long-term and strategic development of a Wisconsin State Cup Finalist team.

Robare holds her United States Soccer Federation (USSF) C license and is a State and US Soccer Region II Olympic Development Program (ODP) coach.

From a club perspective, Robare has been a leader in our Young Female Coaching Development Initiative, small group and individual training programs, and our scholarship program which has awarded over $60,000 in grants to local youth needing financial assistance to play soccer.
